- Power and Sailing Vessels: Yacht, smallcraft and commercial vessel surveyor for over 30 years. During that time, I have completed surveys on all the major makes of power and sailing vessels. Added to that are numerous custom built and one-of-a-kind vessels.
- Pre-Purchase Survey: Generally considered to be a survey of the vessel out of water, in water and a sea trial. Usually completed in one two to five hour inspection period depending on the size and complexity of the vessel. The resulting survey report can also be used for financing and insurance purposes.
- Survey for insurance only: This type of survey is usually done to comply with an insurance company request for a new or updated survey report for first issue or renewal of policy.
- Estimated current value only: Usually done to establish an estimated current fair market value for estate or divorce settlement purposes.
